Carole A. Reichert

Carole A. Reichert died December 15, 2014 at 3:16 am in her Muhlenberg residence.

She was the wife of William B. Reichert.

Born in Terre Hill, PA, she was daughter of the late Charles L. and Ruth M. (Smith) Penn.

Carole was a graduate of Reading High School Class of '57.

She was employed for 12 years in various positions at Carpenter Technology Corporation, Reading before retiring in 2001.

A passion of hers was to spend time shopping. But she also loved to sketch, bowl and roller skate. Carole was a devoted mother, wife and daughter. Carole's life revolved around the love for her family. She was always concerned about making sure everything was in order and put away. Carole was always considerate of others and a pleasure to be in her company.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two children: Kevin M. husband of Robin L. Reichert, Muhlenberg Township, Tracey M. Reichert, Muhlenberg Township. She is also survived by her two grandchildren, Amy R. Reichert and Anthony C. Riechert; great grandchild, Caitlin E. Reichert.

Carole is predeceased by her brother Charles L. Penn, Jr.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday at 11 am in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home ,739 Penn Ave., West Reading, PA 19611. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contribution may be made to American Cancer Society, 498 East Bellevue Avenue, Reading, PA 19605 or Berks Visiting Nursing Association, 1170 Berkshire Boulevard Wyomissing, PA 19610.
