Carole E. Fake

Carole E. Fake, 74, of Womelsdorf, passed away December 30, 2016, in the Reading Hospital.

She was the beloved wife of the late Ronald Q. Fake with whom she married June 26, 1965.

Born in Coopersburg, PA, she was the daughter of Mildred (Miller) Bean and the late Howard Bean.

She was a graduate of East Stroudsburg University, where she received a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education.

Carole was employed by Pennside Presbyterian Church as a preschool teacher for 30 years.

She was a member of St. Paul's U.C. C., Robesonia.

Carole was a loving mother. She enjoyed cooking, teaching kids, spending time and holidays with friends and family. She was very active in her retirement in Florida for 14 years before returning to PA to be with her family.

She is survived by two children David R., husband of Leigh Anne Fake, Seaford, DE; Pamela L., wife of Ryan Szal, Womelsdorf, PA. She is also survived by her sister, Linda L. Bean and brother, Howard Bean Jr.

A Service will be held Thursday, January 5, 2017, at 1 pm in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading with burial immediately following the service at Forest Hills Memorial Park. A visitation will be held from 12:30 p.m. to 1 p.m. in the funeral home.
