Carole A. Dohner

Carole Ann Dohner, 74, of Perry Township, died September 17, 2012 in St. Joseph Medical Center, Bern Township.

She was the widow of Robert Rohland Dohner who died August 21, 2006.

Born December 29, 1937 in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Floyd and Catherine E. (Klepper) Weidenhammer.

Carole was a 1956 graduate of Reading High School.

She was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Shoemakersville.

Carole was also a member of Northmont Fellowship Association.

She enjoyed fishing, shopping and playing cards.

Surviving are her four children: Craig R., husband of Michele A. (Jewell) Dohner of Felton, DE; Dale R. Dohner of Cunningham, TN; Scott R., husband of Kim L. (Reynolds) Dohner of Mt. Eden, KY and Sue A., wife of Barry W. Sayer of Temple.

In addition, there are seven grandchildren: Robert, Emerald, Craig, Jr., Ryan, Jeremy, Amanda and Kevin.

Also surviving are, a brother-in-law, Irvin R., husband of June Houck of Myrtle Beach, SC and a nephew and niece, Todd and Melissa.

Services will be Thursday at 1:00 p.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. A viewing will be held from 11 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in Laureldale Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township.
