Carol Mae Zaeske

Carol Mae Zaeske, 94, passed away on Wednesday, April 10th, 2024 at home. She was the wife of Arnold H. Zaeske, who passed on August 21, 1997.

Born in New York Mills, MN, she was the second of twelve children born to the late John Edward and Mayme (Lake) Salo. Carol attended St. Cloud University and graduated with a Bachelors in Elementary Education. She was an elementary school teacher until having her children at which point she taught as a substitute until her retirement in 1976.

Left to cherish her memory are daughter, Angela Rudy, wife of Timothy; son, Alan Zaeske; and grandson, Cody, all of Birdsboro; brothers Kenny Salo, DeWane Salo (Nancy); and sister, Bernice Beaver, all of MN; and numerous nieces and nephews that all reside in MN.

A private Celebration of Life will be held for Carol at the family farm and a memorial garden will be planted in her honor.
