Carol S. Schlachter

Carol S. Schlachter, 69 of Hamburg, died Saturday Jan 16 in her home of natural causes. Her husband, George E. Schlacter Jr. died March 19, 2008. Carol was born in West Reading and was the daughter to the late James C. and Esther M. (Simmon) Palm Sr. She was a homemaker her entire life and was a 1958 graduate of Reading High School. She is survived by one daughter, Stephanie A. Randazzo, Carlise, Mass.; two sons, Michael E. Sr. and Brian J. Schlachter both of Hamburg; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; two brothers, James C. Palm Jr., Oley and Martine A. Palm, Sinking Spring. Funeral services will be private. Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. The Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home Inc., Hamburg, Pa is in charge of the arrangements.
