Carol Jean Roth

Carol Jean (Mauger) Roth, 70 of Cumru Township, passed away Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at the Reading Hospital surrounded by her children. She was the widow of Michael N. Roth.

Born September 24, 1952 in Reading, Carol was a daughter of the late John W. Mauger, Sr. and Bernice J. (Kehs) Mauger. She attended Reading High School. For the last 20 years, she was employed in the food and beverage industry, most recently working at Mifflin Court in Shillington. Carol was happiest when she was spending time and shopping with her grandchildren.

Carol is survived by two children: Teresa "Terri" M. and her husband Chad D. Reber, Sinking Spring; and Daniel D., husband of Jayme L. Terenchin, Wyomissing; and two grandchildren: Kiana L. and Kagan J. Terenchin. Also surviving are brother David Mauger, Fleetwood; and sister Marcia A. Ayala, Laureldale.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her son, John A. Terenchin; two brothers, John W. Mauger, Jr. and Martin M. Mauger; and one sister, Suzann M. Wagner.
