Carol A. Farr

Carol A. (Bova) Farr, 69, of Reading, passed away October 27, 2010, in Reading Hospital and Medical Center.

Born in Olean, N.Y., she was a daughter of the late Michael and Grace (Reynolds) Bova.

She was a graduate of Olean High School, N.Y.

Carol was employed for 21 years as a file clerk by CNA Insurance Company, retiring in 1993.

She was a member of The Bridge Church, Shillington.

Carol is survived by two children, Michael S., husband of Catherine J. Farr, Middletown, and Jerri A., wife of Alan D. Rowlands, West Reading; her brother, Robert M., husband of Julie Bova, Muhlenberg Township; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be Monday at 1:00 p.m. in The Bridge Church, 902 Philadelphia Ave. Shillington, PA 19607. Burial will be in Berks County Memorial Gardens. Friends may call Monday from noon to 1:00 p.m. in the church. Contributions may be made to: American Cancer Society, 498 Bellevue Ave., Reading, PA 19605. Edward J.
