Carol A. Bausher

Carol A. (Stephens) Bausher, 87, passed away March 19, 2026, at The Heritage of Green Hills.

Her husband, Richard A. Bausher, passed died on June 13, 2018.

Born in Mahanoy City, Schuylkill County, she was a daughter of the late Joseph S. and Mary B. (Bistronish) Stephens.

She graduated from Mahanoy Township High School in 1957, where she took great pride in serving as the head majorette for the school band.

Carol was employed by USM Corporation, Molly Division, Temple as a secretary for 15 years, retiring in 1979.

She took pleasure in playing golf with her husband and excelled as a homemaker and wife.

She is survived by two step-sons, Daniel E. P., husband of Deirdre L. Bausher, Wyomissing; and Bruce W. Bausher, Mohnton; two sisters, Eleanor M. Fegley, Mahanoy City, and Marcells J. Thatcher, Sellarsville; two step-grandchildren, Jason R. husband of Kelly Bausher and Matthew L., husband of Emily Bausher; and six-step great-grandchildren, Braxton, Addison, Delaney, Lincoln, McKinley, and Harrison.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading is in charge of arrangements.
