Carmen M. Velez

Carmen M. Velez, 47, of Reading, died April 1, 2010 in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center.

Born in Bayamon, P.R., she was a daughter of Victor M. Velez, Reading, and the late Amelia Lopez.

She is survived by her three children: Miguel A. Torres, Dionicio Torres and Jennifer Torres, all of Reading; and her four siblings: Luis A. Lopez, Reading, Victor M. Velez, P.R., Elizabeth Velez, Reading and Marisol Velez, Reading.

Carmen was predeceased by her son, Marvin Torres and her brother, Antonio Velez.

Services will be Thursday at 12 p.m. in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. Burial will be in Bern Church Cemetery, Bern Township. A viewing will be Thursday from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Edward J.
