Carmen J. Knoblauch

Carmen J. (Wingle) Knoblauch, 88, passed away October 22, 2021, in her Hamburg residence.

Her husband, Richard A. Knoblauch, died on May 18, 2006.

Born in Schuylkill Haven, she was the daughter of the late William F. and Sue P. (Gehrig) Wingle.

Carmen was a homemaker who was dedicated to her family; one of the best gifts she gave her daughter was staying home to raise her. She also knew the value in a warm homecooked meal and loved cooking for her family and friends.

Carmen and her husband shared a passion of ballroom dancing throughout the years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be sorely missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by daughter, Holly K. Scapelliti of Scottsdale, AZ; granddaughters, Heather Parenti, Scottsdale, AZ, Amber Nyhuis, Litchfield Park, AZ, Aleia Abdelrahman of Scottsdale, AZ and grandson, Kyle Pagan, Tempe, AZ; two great-grandchildren: Koa Nyhuis-Thompson and Kaeo Nyhuis-Thompson; her nephew, William, husband of Cynthia Sowers, Auburn; and two great-nieces, Corinna Sowers-Adler and Rachael Williams.

She was predeceased by her brother, William E. Wingle.
