Carmen Rosa Hernandez

Carmen Rosa Hernandez, 51, of Reading, passed away on December 27, 2021, at St. Joseph's Hospital. She was the wife of the late Manuel Cruz. They shared many wonderful years together.

Born in Santiago, Dominican Republic, she was a child of Elba Mercedes (Guzman) and Jose David Hernandez of the Dominican Republic.

She enjoyed spending quality time and talking with her family. Carmen was a selfless and giving person who would help anyone in need.

She is survived by her children: Edickson Pilarte of Dominican Republic, Elayne Morel (Jose Azor) of Reading, Jean Carlos Morel of Reading and Oziri Cruz of Reading; grandchildren: Emily of Dominican Republic, Ailani of Reading PA, Sebastian of Pennsylvania, and Tiffany of Pennsylvania; and siblings: Carlos Hernandez of Dominican Republic, Jovanny Hernandez of Dominican Republic and Karina Hernandez of Dominican Republic.

Friends and family may gather for viewing on Saturday, January 1, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc, 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading.
