Carmella Epler

Carmella Epler, 85, passed away July 17, 2010 surrounded by her loving family in her West Lawn residence.

Her husband, Roy B. Epler, died May 11, 2003.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Antonio and Giavanna (Lapi) Biondo.

She was employed by Emhart Corp., Muhlenberg Twp. until her retirement.

Her passion was her family. She was much loved by her entire family and will be dearly missed by everyone that knew her.

She is survived by two daughters, Jennie, wife of Ronald Lewars, Sinking Spring and Donna L., wife of Daniel Edinger, Shillington. She was predeceased by her daughter, Flora May Kirkley.

Other survivors include one sister, Antoinette Holloway, West Lawn, six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. A son-in-law, Ray Kirkley, Birdsboro also survives her.

She was predeceased by two sisters and three brothers.

Services will be Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park. Friends may call from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Online condolences may be recorded at www.kuhnfuneralhome.com.
