Carmela Kruszewski

Carmela (Carrozza) "Mamie" Kruszewski, 91, of Reading, died of natural causes April 27th at 8:45pm in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center, where she had been since April 14th.

She was the widow of Joseph A. Kruszewski, who died November 22, 1976.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Pasquale and Theresa (Lia) Carrozza.

She was a member of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Reading.

Kruszewski is survived by a daughter, Debra M. (Kruszewski) Ciervo of Muhlenberg Township and two sons, Joseph S. of New York City and Albert P. of Muhlenberg Township.

Other survivors include a sister, Mary (Carrozza) Kauffman of Exeter Township and two brothers, Patrick of West Reading and Jacob of Reading.

There are also four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a son, Ronald W., who died March 12, 1992.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10:00am in St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Reading. Viewings will be Monday evening 7:00 - 8:00 pm and Tuesday morning 9:00 - 9:30 am in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Reading.
