Carl’s story began on July 22, 1944 when he was born to Grace and Elmer Nuskey and ended July 1, 2026. In between, he was that person who did dozens of little chores that no one knows needs to be done, or no one wants to do, and that no one notices when they have been done.
Carl Graduated from Northeast High School in Philadelphia where he received the Grafton Greenough Award for his rendering of the Colosseum. He graduated from Penn State in 1966 with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. He worked for Philadelphia Electric Company, now Exelon Corp. as an engineer in the Gas Division, taking an early retirement in 1995. He started PicturePerfect Photography, specializing in weddings and family portraits. He also started Framed by Carl, a picture framing business specializing in memorabilia and needlework.
Carl married Marlene Wade in 1965, had two children, Melanie and Brett. Brett married Dawn Easton and had two children, Brooke and Jeremy. These, along with his brother Peter, survive him and grieve.
Surely grace and mercy followed him all the days of his life and he will live in the house of the Lord forever.
A memorial service for Carl will be held on July 25, 2026, at 11 a.m. at Calvary Bible Fellowship Church, 4891 Penn Ave, Sinking Spring, PA.
Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home is honored to serve Carl's family.
