Carl Lowman

Carl Lowman, 79, passed away on Friday, October 29, 2021, at Reading Hospital. He was the companion of the Maxine (Davis) Truesdale. They shared 39 wonderful years together.

Born in Bronx, New York he was the child of the late George Wellington Lowman and Cora (Staples).

In addition to his companion, Maxine, Carl is survived by his daughter, Carla Davis of Chesterfield, VA; step children: Henry Lee Truesdale, Lanette Marie Davis, Anthony Truesdale, and Genecia Williams, all of Reading, PA; grandchildren: Mioshe Davis and Clarance Davis of Chesterfield, VA; great grandchildren: Nasir Davis, Johaan Davis, and Kahlani Davis of Chesterfield, VA. He is also survived by sisters, Barbara Mae Dawkins of Indianapolis, IN, and Brenda Baskerville of Reading, PA, and many nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by two brothers, George Lowman and Eldred Lowman, and two sisters, Marlilyn Blanco and Maurice Osorio.

Services will be held privately per the family's request
