Carl H. Gensemer

Carl H. Gensemer, 79, of Reading, died January 3, 2013 in The Reading Hospital and Medical Center.

He was the husband of Denise M. (Shannon) Gensemer.

Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Raymond and Elsie (Umbenhouer) Gensemer.

Carl was a U.S. Army veteran.

In addition to his wife he is survived by his daughter, Lynn R., Oswaltt, Dauberville. Also surviving are his siblings: Samuel D. Gensemer, LeRoy R. Gensemer and Ethel Schaeffer, all of Reading and Bert R. Arnold, Philadelphia. Two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren also survive him.

Carl was predeceased by his son, Carl H. Gensemer, Jr.

Services will be Tuesday at 12 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. A viewing will be 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Indiantown Gap.
