Carl Gethmann

Carl Gethmann, 89, passed away on July 30, 2025, at the Reading Hospital. He was the widower of the late Rita (Kasprzak) Gethmann. They shared 65 wonderful years together.

A New York City native, Carl served his country honorably in the Navy. He was employed as a Technical Writer in the Information Technology sector for many years. He was a voracious reader and music listener, and he and Rita spent a lot of time in London, UK through the years.

Carl is survived by many friends and neighbors.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, August 14, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Reading with burial to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Reading.
