Carl E. Fleck

Carl E. "Kelly" Fleck, 100, formerly of Wyomissing, died March 11, 2015 in Cedarbrook Nursing Home, Allentown, PA.

He was predeceased by his wife, Miriam E. (Tobias) Fleck who died in 1992 and a fiancee', Helen M. Garner who died in 2006.

Born in Reading he was the son of the late Herbert H. and Dorothea M. (Nuebling) Fleck.

He was a 1932 graduate of Wyomissing High School.

Carl worked for Wilson Products and Reading Industries as an industrial engineer, retiring in 1975.

He was a member St. Timothy Evangelical Lutheran Church, Allentown.

Carl served in the U.S. Army during World War II in the European Theater, earning a combat infantry badge as well as a bronze star.

He is survived by a sister-in-law, Elizabeth Fleck; and a niece and nephew, Lisa and John Fleck, all of Albequerque, New Mexico.

Other survivors include his companion, Jean E. Creveling, Allentown, PA.

Services will be at the convenience of the family. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading, PA 19611 is in charge of the arrangements. Burial will be in Epler's Church Cemetery, Leesport, PA. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to, St. Timothy Evangelical Lutheran Church, 140 South Ott Street, Allentown, PA 18104.
