Carl A. Boldt

Carl A. Boldt, 78, of Cumru Township, died March 9, 2009, in St. Joseph Medical Center.

Born August 23, 1929 in Reading, he was a son of the late Robert C. and Kathryn A. (Steigerwalt) Boldt.

Carl was a graduate of Reading High School. He also attended Penn State University. He was a staff sergeant in the U.S. Air Force and then employed by Lockheed Martin, California, for 15 years.

Surviving are two brothers, Kenneth J., husband of Louise M. (Dutt) Boldt, Tilden Township and Robert Ebinger, Schuylkill Haven; and two sisters, Elizabeth Barth of Reading and Kathryn Bickel, Topton. Several nieces and nephews also survive him.

Carl was predeceased by his brother, William.

Graveside services will be private at the convenience of the family in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, Lebanon County.
