Candita Perez

Candita Perez, 83, of Reading, died April 29, 2009 in Reading Hospital.

Her husband Juan Perez died in 1976.

Born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico, she was a daughter of the late Jose and Isabel (Mercado) Delgado.

She was a member of St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, Reading.

Candita loved music and dancing.

She is survived by two sons, Juan, Reading and Jesus, Bronx, NY; and three daughters, Milagros, Luz Nereida and Jacqueline, all of Reading. There are three sisters, Estelita Barada, Sinking Spring, Silvia Guerro, N.Y. and Felicita Delgado, Puerto Rico. Many grandchildren , great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren also survive her.

Candita was predeceased by two daughters, Rosita and Isabel.

Services will be Saturday at 9:30 a.m. in the Chapel of Resurrection at Gethsemane Cemetery. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery. Friends may call Friday from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Online condolences may be recorded at www.kuhnfuneralhome.com.
