Bruce A. Reifsnyder

Bruce A. Reifsnyder, 82, formerly of Boyertown, passed away on Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at 4:00 am in Golden Living Center, Exeter Township where he was a resident.

He was predeceased by his wife: Esther S. (Eddinger) Reifsnyder on November 8, 2004.

Born in Boyertown, he was a son of the late John B. and Alice H. (Clouser) Reifsnyder.

He was employed as a Dispatcher for William R. Gift Oil Company, Boyertown for 40 years until retiring.

He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War and was an active member of the Church of the Good Shepherd, Boyertown where he was a former council member. He also attended Christ Lutheran Church, Spangsville.

He is survived by his Daughter: Eileen K. Unger of St. Lawrence and 2 Sons: Steven C. Reifsnyder of Boyertown and Joel Reifsnyder of Draper, Utah. Also 4 Sisters: Betty M. Reifsnyder of Boyertown; Leah J. Colbert of Gilbertsville; Grace M. Shade of Oley and Alice E. Deysher of Florida. He is also survived by 6 Grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held in the Church of the Good Shepherd, 35 West Philadelphia Avenue, Boyertown, Pa. 19512 on Friday, April 8, 2011 at 11:00 am. Friends and family will be received from 10:00-11:00 am on Friday at the church. Interment in Oley Union Cemetery, Spangsville will be private. Contributions may be made to the Building Fund of the Church of the Good Shepherd at the above address.
