In Loving Memory of Bruce David Dillman
March 16, 1949 - October 1, 2025
Bruce David Dillman, born in Reading, PA. passed away in his home on October 01, 2025.
Bruce lived the American dream.
Bruce grew up on 12th Street in Reading, PA, where he formed a close-knit group of friends with whom he remained close his entire life. He was a proud graduate of Reading High School, Class of 1967. In his early years, Bruce raised a family and worked at Prudential Insurance, becoming a recognized award-winning industry Insurance sales professional. On show and tell days at school I brought his awards into the class.
At an inflection point in his life, he took a bet on himself realizing he was in control of his own happiness. It was also during this time that he met the love of his life, Shauna Eileen Senff. They were married on January 3, 1983. They went on to build their own successful mortgage firm.
With his wife Shauna, Bruce created a life filled with laughter, great dinners, vacations, and cherished friendships. A man of many talents, he and Shauna started several businesses. Bruce was a mechanically inclined person as witnessed with his home improvement projects over 55 years with transformative results. For all things mechanical Bruce loved cars and motorcycles. Bruce had a natural style about him and turned heads. In the early 70's a freshly mustachioed Bruce rode a motorcycle without a helmet and looked like a movie star, but he was just himself. Very authentic guy.
He was proceeded in death by the late William Merril Dillman father and Alice née Keebler, mother. He was brother of the late Terry Dillman.
He is survived by his brother, Bob Wessner, his wife Leony and son Brendon Wessner, her sisters in law Terri McLoughin, Pat Senff Clark, including Shauna's nephew Martin "Marty" Andrew McLoughin, grandnephew, Zachary McLoughin, great grandnephew Aiden McLoughin, children, Jeffrey Dillman, Lindsay Witt and her husband Chris Witt and Brian Dillman, AIA and his wife Elsa Dillman.
A celebration of Bruce's life will be held later in the coming weeks. We welcome all friends of Bruce's to attend. We will keep folks posted on date, time, and location so you can plan.
May he rest in peace, forever remembered young, vibrant, a good man and loving soul.
His Son, Brian Dillman
