Bruce Donald Bauer

Bruce Donald Bauer, 73, of Muhlenberg Township, died October 16, 2014 in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center.

He was the husband of Antoinette (Vaccaro) Bauer, whom he married June 3, 1961. Born in West Reading, PA, on April 23, 1941, he was a son of the late Francis and Helen (Heiser) Bauer.

He was a 1959 graduate of Reading High School. Bruce was employed 36 years with Bell Atlantic, Reading and Muhlenberg Township, as a service technician, retiring in 2001.

He was a member of the senior club at Good Shepherd United Church of Christ, Tuckerton.

Bruce is also survived by a daughter, Lori Ann (Bauer), wife of Todd J. West, of Muhlenberg Township; and two grandchildren, Drew C. West and Paige B. West. Other survivors include a brother and a sister.

He was predeceased by a brother.

Services will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in Kuhn-Stitzel Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale.

Viewings will be held Wednesday evening 6:30–8:00 p.m. and Thursday 10:30–11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Entombment will be in Charles Evans Cemetery Mausoleum.
