Bruce A. Adams

Bruce Allen Adams, 68, of Wyomissing, died October 28, 2006 at 5:13 a.m. in Reading Hospital, where he had been a patient for 4 days.

He was the husband of Barbara Gail (Sheidy) Adams.

Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Charles J. and Edith N. (Yeich) Adams.

He was the owner of Adams Tire Service, Inc. for over 35 years.

Bruce was a member of Hampden Heights Seventh Day Adventist Church.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

There is also one son, Bruce A., Jr., husband of Edna Adams and two daughters, Victoria G. (Adams) wife of Ronald Eby and Kimberly G. (Adams) wife of Joseph Saadi.

Other survivors include five brothers, Charles, Jr., Robert, Kenneth, Glenn and Barry and one sister, Gerry (Adams) Gernert. Six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren also survive him. Other survivors include his mother-in-law, Emma E. (Sweitzer) Sheidy. He was predeceased by one brother, Richard.

Everyone is invited to a Celebration of Life Service Tuesday, October 31 at 6:30 p.m. in Hampden Heights Seventh Day Adventist Church, 2706 Old Fritztown Road Temple, PA 19560 (next to the Crab Barn). Graveside services in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Exeter Twp. will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, P.O. Box 4072, Pittsfield, MA 01202.
