Brian E. Lash

Brian E. "Hunk" Lash, 55, passed away September 23, 2017, in his Shillington residence.

He was the beloved husband of Melisa (Loupos) Lash, with whom he shared 30 years of marriage.

Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Norman E. and Sylvia K. (Monde) Lash.

Brian was a graduate of Wyomissing High School and attended Penn State University.

He was a United States Navy veteran.

Brian was employed by Global Advance Metal as a manufacturing operator for over ten years.

He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and animal lover. Brian also enjoyed playing basketball, shooting pool and riding his Harley. But his deep love for his family and spending time with them was what he valued most.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his three children, Rebecca A., wife of Michael Krop; Nicholas A. Lash; and James A. Lash. He is also survived by his three siblings, Scott E. Lash, Roxanne E., wife of Daniel Deeds and Clark E., husband of Tracy Lash; grandchildren, Braylen Norman Cape and Violet Sylvia Krop; brother-in-law, Brett A. Loupos; mother-in-law, Barbara Loupos; sister-in-law, Theresa Lash; ten nieces and nephews and nine grand nieces and nephews.

Brian was predeceased by his brother, Wayne E. Lash.

Memorial Services will be held Wenesday, September 27, 2017, at 7:30 p.m. in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
