Brian Lane Davis, 42, of Temple, was pronounced dead February 2, 2008 at 8:30 pm following an off road four wheeler accident in Weatherly Borough, Carbon County.
He was the husband of Joan Louise (Bliesath) Davis, whom he married April 8, 1995.
Born on January 10, 1966 in Pottstown, he was a son of Carl Thomas and Esther Joan (Cook) Davis of Douglassville.
He is also survived by his daughter, that he was very proud of, Jessica Lynn Davis, of Temple and her fiancee Nelson Haller, II. of Paoli, PA.
Other survivors include a sister, Karen Lynn (Davis) wife of David J. Grebowsky of Chester, Maryland and his loving dog, Bubba.
He was also a loving uncle of many nieces and nephews: Heather, Jadin, Justin, Josh, Cody, Brandon, Kayla, Taylor, Ryan, and Justin.
He was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Amityville.
Davis was employed 10 years as a heavy equipment operator with Schlouch Construction, Blandon, last working on Tuesday.
He was a life member of both the National Rifle Association and the Amity Fire Company. He also was a member of the Reading Company Boosters Club, Temple; Birdsboro Sportsman Club and the Central (Laureldale) Fire Company.
Brian was an avid hunter, fisherman, motorcycle rider and sportsman. Brian always placed others before himself.
Services will be held Friday at 10:00 am in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale with the Rev. Anne M. Cormier officiating. Viewings will be held Thursday 6:30 - 8:00 pm and Friday 9:30 am until time of services in the funeral home. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
