Brian David Button

Brian David Button, 59, died December 28, 2015, in his Wyomissing residence.

Born in West Reading, he was a son of Beverly J. Button Comparini, wife of Sylvester Comparini and the late Joseph D. Button.

He was a 1974 graduate of Holy Name High School. Brian was a supervisor for Amtrak for over 30 years.

He was a member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church. Brian enjoyed the outdoors, reading, traveling and the beach. He coached little league football for Lincoln Park for many years. Brian was a longtime member and trustee of the West Lawn Quoiting Club. He was also a member of the West Wyomissing Fire Company., VFW, S.S. 18TH Ward Democratic Club.

In addition to his mother and step-father, he is survived by his fiancée, Susan D. Napkora, with whom he resided. He is also survived by four children: Hillary Button, fiancée of Joseph Pastore, Sinking Spring; Rachel Button, West Reading; Kimberly Button and Zachary Button, both of West Lawn; a brother, Curtis J., husband of Teresa A. Button, Wyomissing; a granddaughter, Amaya Noel Butler; Susan's children, Rebecca and Ashley Tarullo and his former spouse, Monica (Sweigert) Button.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. in Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, West Reading. Burial will be private.
