Brett Jeremy Bagenstose

Brett Jeremy Bagenstose, 49, passed away on October 14, 2026, in his Wyomissing residence.

Brett was a dreamer, a storyteller, and a creative force who never quite accepted that something couldn’t be done. A natural creator and entrepreneur, he took pride in building a successful business, turning his ideas, talents, and hard work into something he could call his own. In 2004, he founded Neo-Pangea, a creative studio that would grow from his wild imagination into an internationally recognized company known for creating extraordinary immersive experiences. For more than 21 years, Brett led a talented group of artists, designers, technologists, futurists, and fellow dreamers who brought seemingly impossible ideas to life. His work took him around the globe, creating unforgettable experiences for museums, entertainment destinations and some of the world’s most recognizable brands.

But Brett’s greatest professional accomplishment wasn’t the awards, the impressive projects, or even the company itself. It was the people. He built Neo-Pangea into a place where creativity was celebrated, the unusual was encouraged, and coworkers became lifelong friends.

As much as Brett loved creating extraordinary experiences for others, nothing meant more to him than his family. Being a father was one of his proudest roles, and he loved sharing his curiosity, creativity, sense of adventure, and wonderfully ridiculous sense of humor with his children. He encouraged them to think differently, explore the world, follow their passions, and never lose the ability to be a little silly.

Brett had an endless appetite for life, and quite literally, for good food. He loved traveling, discovering new places, experiencing different cultures, and finding a fantastic meal. Perhaps most of all, he loved sharing what he discovered/created with others. Food was more than a meal; it was a reason to gather, to connect, to tell stories, and to make memories. He understood the magic of a table filled with good food, good friends, and laughter that carried long into the evening.

Some of Brett’s happiest moments were spent near the water with his family and friends. He loved surfing, grilling, fire pits, and taking his boat out on the Delaware bay blasting music.

Despite making a career out of creating incredible things, Brett never outgrew the joy of simply playing. Some of his passions were LEGOs, collecting, building, tinkering, and anything that allowed his imagination to run wild. He was proof that growing older didn’t mean you had to grow up.

Brett embraced the silliness of life. He had a quick wit, a mischievous personality, and an undeniable talent for making people laugh. He wasn’t afraid to be ridiculous, make a funny face, crack a joke, or turn an ordinary moment into a memory. His life will be remembered not simply for the years he was given, but for the passion and enthusiasm with which he lived them, the things he built, the experiences he embraced, and the people whose lives he made richer by being part of them. If Brett had anything to say about it, he would probably remind everyone to stop being so serious, have a little fun, make something amazing, or just make someone laugh.

Born in Reading, he was the son of Janis (Glowinski) Bagenstose and the late Robert Bagenstose. He was a graduate of Wilson High School and Temple University, where he earned a degree in film. Most importantly, he was the loving husband to Christin Michelle (Klinger) Bagenstose and father of Mya A. Bagenstose and Ethan R. Bagenstose. In addition, he is survived by his Aunt Gail (Bagenstose) Orr, his step-parents, Charles Williams and Renee Wertman, three siblings: Jared, husband of Tina Perella, Justin, husband of Carla Perella, and Megan Williams. Brett’s memory will live on through his family, including nine nieces and nephews: Jack, Zoe, Ava, Rocco, Nicholas, Sophia, Cole, Gavin and Quinn.

His life ended far too soon, leaving behind a family and a community of friends who will forever feel the impact of his loss. To remember Brett is to remember a life lived with love, energy, creativity, ambition, and a deep appreciation for all that makes life meaningful.
