Brenda J. Gaspari

Brenda Joyce (Hamaker) Gaspari, 84, of Wyomissing, died August 31, 2024 at Country Meadows, Wyomissing.

She was the loving wife of Gino Gaspari to whom she was married for 63 years.

Born on September 28, 1939, Brenda was the daughter of Paul and Kathryn Hamaker.

A graduate of Muhlenberg High School of Reading, PA, Brenda was a full-time homemaker following a brief career as a Ford model. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church, West Reading, PA. She volunteered at Sacred Heart School and as a Wyomissing poll worker for many years. Brenda enjoyed entertaining, hosting family holidays, fashion, reading, and the beach.

In addition to her husband, Brenda is survived by a daughter, LeeAnne Fura (Kevin) of Allentown, PA, and two sons, Mark Gaspari (Amy) of Wyomissing, PA, and Paul Gaspari also of Wyomissing, PA. She was predeceased by her son, Gregory Gaspari (Mary). Brenda had eleven grandchildren: William, Emily, Regina, Daniel, Audrey, Pietro, Elizabeth, Gino, Samantha, Serafina, and Sarit. She had 4 great-grandchildren: Olivia, Owen, Abigail, and Jack.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, September 5, 2024 at 10AM in the Chapel of Resurrection at Gethsemane Cemetery, 3139 Kutztown Road, Reading. Burial will follow Mass. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Sacred Heart School or to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
