Brenda S. Craze

Brenda S. (Taylor) Craze, 74, of Reading, passed away unexpectedly on July 3, 2025, at Reading Hospital.

She was the loving wife of James M. Craze. They were married on October 17, 1987 and shared over 37 wonderful years of marriage together.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Norman Taylor and June (Schock) Resch.

She was a graduate of Reading High School in 1969. Brenda went on to waitress for many years most notably at Arner's Restaurant at 9th and Exeter. Later she was a school bus driver for Berks Career & Technology Center.

Brenda loved to craft, go camping with her husband, and spending time with all family, especially her grandchildren. She was a breast cancer survivor.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Terri L. Chase, Reading, and her son, Timothy R. (Amanda S.) Chase, Hamburg; two grandchildren, Payton J. Chase and Caleigh R. Chase; and her brother, Steven M. Taylor, Reading.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, July 10, 2025, from 1 to 2 p.m. with a service to begin at 2 p.m. at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Contributions may be made to Susan G. Komen for the Cure (www.komen.org). Condolences may be expressed at kuhnfuneralhomes.com.
