Bonnie L. Schade

Bonnie L. Schade, 71 of Hamburg died June 1st in the M.S.Hershey Medical Center, Hershey, PA. She was the wife of Larry D. Schade. Bonnie was born in Port Clinton, and was the daughter of the late Joseph Mengle and Helen I. (Koller) Hebner. She was a 1958 graduate of Schuylkill Haven High School and attended Kutztown State Teacher's College for two years. She worked as a bookkeeper for 31 years for Rubright Construction, Shoemakersville. Bonnie enjoyed decorating for various holidays, flower gardening and spending time in Cape May, NJ. In addition to her husband, she is survived by 2 sons, Lane D. Shirey, Downingtown, Michael J. Rick, Pittsburgh, 2 step children, George H. Schade, Schuylkill County and Hannah P. Schade, Shartlesville, and 7 grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Shirley A. Simpson, Wyomissing. She was predeceased by 1 son, Michael L. Schade in 1978 and 2 brothers, Kenneth J. and Larry R. Mengle. Memorial contributions may be made to the Keystone Miller Blood Center, 2745A Leiscz's Bridge Road, Reading, PA. 19605.
