Bonnie M. Gentile

Bonnie M. Gentile, 58, of Reading, died May 1, 2009, in her residence.

She was the widow of Ronald Gentile.

Born September 9, 1950, in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Ferman Frederick, Jr. and Carrie Elizabeth (Ulrich)Cooley.

Bonnie was employed by various nursing homes over the years and predominantly worked in healthcare.

Surviving are a daughter, Denise M. (Knier), wife of Barry Spang of Newmanstown and a son, Jeffrey J. Knier of Laureldale.

There are also two brothers, Franklin E. Cooley of Peoria, Arizona and Michael F. Cooley of Bethel; and two sisters, Carolyn A. (Cooley) Hess of Leeper, Carion County and Cheryl J. (Cooley) Cieplinski of Peoria, Arizona.

In addition, there are six grandchildren and one great-granddaughter surviving.

Bonnie was predeceased by a son, James Lee Knier, January 3, 1993.

Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading. A viewing will be held one hour prior to services. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Spring Township.
