Bonnie Mae Fleischmann

It is with great sadness we announce Bonnie Mae Fleischmann (aka Mom Mom), 68, of Wyomissing peacefully passed away at home on March 28, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Reading she was the daughter of the late Edith Lucchese, Russell Weinhold, and the step daughter of Charles Lucchese. She was predeceased by her husband David Fleischmann, Jr. in 1995. Bonnie was a 1961 graduate of Governor Mifflin High School. She most recently worked for the Mikasa store in Wyomissing, retiring in 2003. Bonnie dedicated her life to her family. She was an extraordinary woman who selflessly nurtured, loved and encouraged her children/grandchildren unconditionally. Her presence made life easier for everyone around her. Bonnie loved to cook, garden, travel to Rochester, NY, and spend her summer vacations in Ocean City, NJ. She had a great sense of humor and had a special appreciation for the arts. Bonnie loved dragonflies, Michael Buble, and adored all animals, especially her grand-dog Hunter. The sweetest sound to mortals given; Are heard in Mother, Home, and Heaven. Bonnie is survived by three daughters: Michele Fleischmann of Reading; Heather Rodriguez of West Reading, and Wendy Fleischmann McNatt (wife of Timothy McNatt) of Wyomissing. She was predeceased by her son, Timothy Fleischmann in 2009. Bonnie is survived by her beloved grandchildren: Darryl (husband of Katie McCoy Fleischmann), Eric, Katarina, Sheerenna, and Sophia. She is also survived by one step great grandchild, Skyler, and a sister by choice, Tina Blackwell. Bonnie's family will honor and celebrate her life privately. In lieu of flowers, contributions may either be made to the Berks County Animal Rescue League, PO Box 69, Mohnton, PA 19540 or the Caron Chapel Fund, PO Box 150, Wernersville, PA 19565.
