Bonnie L. Cooper, 57, of Spring Township, passed away, Easter Sunday, April 20, 2014, in Reading Hospital.
She was a life-time companion of David Lash to whom she has been engaged to for over 35 years.
Born in West Reading, she was the daughter of Lewis E. and Marie H. (Styer) Cooper, Brecknock, Township.
Bonnie was a 1974 graduate of Governor Mifflin High School.
She was employed for 35 ½ years by Alcon now Novartis as a lead tech, retiring last May.
Bonnie loved the outdoors, fishing, antiquing, travel and all outdoor sports. She will be remembered as an outgoing person who enjoyed spending time with her mother Marie going to bingo and the casinos. She loved to go to Tioga County , where she could enjoy the outdoors with Dave and the rest of her family.
Bonnie is survived by friends and family including: aunts, uncles, cousins, her cat, Porky and dog Blue, all of whom will miss her dearly.
She was predeceased by her maternal grandmother, Lulu Styer, who also passed away on Easter Sunday 24 years ago.
Services will be Saturday at 11a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Burial will be in Mohnsville Cemetery. Friends may call Saturday from 9 to 11a.m. in the funeral home.
