Bonita Rae Flammer

Bonita "Bonnie" R. Flammer, 70, of Hamburg, passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2023, in the care of St. Joseph Medical Center.

Born in West Hamburg, she was a daughter of the late Roy J. Flammer Sr. and Nancy L. (Varner) Flammer.

Bonnie attended Hamburg High School. For over 32 years she worked as a sewing machine operator. Many would remember her working as a bartender for the Northkill Rod & Gun Club where she worked until her retirement.

Bonnie was a stubborn, feisty woman who would have given her last dollar to help someone else in need.

Left to treasure Bonnie's memory are her siblings: Alice L. Breidigan, wife of David, of Upper Tulpehocken Township, and Roy J. Flammer Jr., husband of Loretta, of Hamburg; niece, Amy S. Breidigan; nephew, Connor J. Flammer; and many cousins and their families.

A celebration of life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 14, 2023, at Burkey-Driscoll Funeral Home, 40 S 4th St, Hamburg. Friends and family are welcome to call at the funeral home beginning at 9:00 a.m. until the start of services. Condolences may be expressed at burkeydriscoll.com.
