Blanche M. Mckeon

Blanche M. (Schaeffer) McKeon, 91, formerly of West Reading and Shillington died August 12th at 6:25 pm in the Emergency Room at The Reading Hospital and Medical Center.

She was taken there from the Highlands at Wyomissing, where she had been since September 1989.

McKeon was the widow of John W. McKeon, who died May 9, 1987.

Born in Pottsville, Schuylkill County, she was a daughter of the late Harry A. and Pearl M. (Carl) Schaeffer.

She was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church, West Reading.

McKeon was employed 5 years as a clerk at American Casualty Company, Reading, retiring in 1966.

She is survived by a cousin, Emmeline Stone of Pottsville.

Services will be private. Burial will be in Charles Evans Cemetery, Reading. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading is in charge of arrangements.
