Blanche I. Deisher

Blanche I. Deisher, 85, formerly of Jefferson Street, Hyde Park, died July 8 at 6:55 a.m. in ManorCare Health Services Inc., Spring Township, where she had resided the past 11 years.

Her husband, Harold B. Deisher, died in January 1989.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late H. Daniel and Ida (Weist) Deppen.

Deisher was employed for 15 years as a sales clerk by Windsor Card Shop, Muhlenberg Township, retiring in 1987.

She was a member of Alsace Lutheran Church, Hyde Park.

Surviving are two sons, Eugene R., Hellertown, Northampton County, and Robert L., Temple.

Other survivors include nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Faye (Deisher) Meeks, in 1993.

Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home Inc., Laureldale. Burial will be in Millcreek Memorial Cemetery, Newmanstown, Lebanon County.
