Billie Sue Vandiver

Billie Sue Vandiver, 94, of Reading, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 12, 2023. Born May 17, 1929 in Dawson, Texas, she was the daughter of William Elbert Hoge and Pauline Wiswell.

She was widowed twice, first by Herman S. Wessner and then by Troy Eugene Vandiver.

Billie Sue had a passion for sewing and was known for her beautiful dress creations. She was also a fantastic cook, with a treasure trove of recipes that she loved to share with her loved ones.

Billie Sue is survived by her son, Kerry Wessner, husband of Erica and her grandchildren: Matthew, Christopher, Marne, and Ross. Additionally, she leaves behind six great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her daughter, Kathy Ann (Kate) Jozwiak, brother, James Rufus Hoge, and sister, Martha Louise Bosse.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
