Beverly A. (Gring) Lenharr, 73, of Spring Township, died February 27, 2013, in Phoebe Berks Health Care Center.

Born in West Reading, she was the daughter of the late Charles W. and Helen G. (Grimm) Gring.

She was a graduate of Wilson High School in 1957 and Reading-Muhlenberg Vo-Tech receiving her LPN Certificate in 1960.

Beverly was an LPN for the Hassler Home, now Mifflin Center, for 10 years, Berks Heim for 6 years, and Wernersville State Hospital for 18 years until her retirement on March 28, 2000. She continued to work part-time as a home health care provider in her spare time.

She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Mohnton.

Beverly was an animal lover and especially liked cardinals, penguins and dogs. She was also a Penn State enthusiast and enjoyed watching the Reading Buccaneers. Above all she loved cooking for her family and spending time with her grandchildren. She will be dearly missed.

She is survived by two children, Stanley, E., husband of Pamela, Lexington Park, MD and Deborah A., wife of Greg Templin, Sinking Spring. She was the adoring grandmother to her six grandchildren: Bryan Patrick, husband of Lisa Lenharr, David Michael Lenharr, Courtney Nicole Howe, Christopher Cody Lenharr, Joseph Lee Howe and Heather Rene Lenharr.

Beverly was predeceased by her brother, Charles B. Gring.

Services will be Monday at 2 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Friends may call Monday from 12:30 to 2 p.m. in the funeral home.
