Beverly A. Lena, 71, of Wyomissing, PA, died December 6, 2007 in Reading Hospital.

She was predeceased by her husband, Adolph J. Lena, who died February 12, 1997.

Born in Dunkirk, NY, she was the daughter of the late Herman B. and Beatrice A. (Buck) Prue.

She was a graduate of Dunkirk High School.

Beverly worked in radio and advertising in Pittsburgh and Buffalo.

She was an active member of the Chautauqua County Republican Party for many years and also served as City Clerk of Dunkirk, NY. She was a volunteer for the United Way, the Reading Hospital Auxiliary and other charitable organizations.

She is survived by her companion of 10 years, Daniel J. Trout; three daughters, Lisa L. MacGregor, Wyomissing, Lauren K. Diani, Midland Park, NJ and Lydia S. McKechnie, Towaco, NJ; and step-daughter, Carol A. Lena, Sentreville, VA. There is one brother, David B. Prue, Florala, AL. Five grandchildren, Collin MacGregor, Nicholas Diani, Matthew Diani, Andrew McKechnie and Sean McKechnie also survive her.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 a.m. in Holy Trinity R.C. Church, Dunkirk, NY. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery, Fredonia, NY. Friends may call Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading and on Tuesday from 4 to 6 p.m. in McGraw-Kowal Funeral Home, Dunkirk, NY. Contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Berks County 1801 North 11th Street Reading, PA 19604 or to the American Cancer Society 498 Bellevue Avenue Reading, PA 19605.
