Beulah R. Mease, 106, formerly of Seventh Avenue, Temple, died Aug. 18 at 7:45 p.m. in the Brethren Village, Manheim, Lancaster County, where she had resided since March 5, 1988.
Her husband, James Mease, died Oct. 18, 1966.
Born in Leesport, she was a daughter of the late Urias and Mary (DeTurk) Rothenberger.
Mease was employed as an elementary teacher by the Fleetwood School District from 1916 to 1928 and was employed as an elementary teacher in the Muhlenberg School District from 1944 to 1960.
She was a 1914 graduate of Fleetwood High School and a 1916 graduate of the Keystone Normal School.
In 1991, Mease was honored at the 75th reunion by Kutztown University.
She was a member of Epiphany Lutheran Church, South Temple.
Surviving is a son, James, Baltimore.
Other survivors include two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be Friday at 1:30 p.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home Inc., Laureldale. Viewing 12:30 until time of service. Burial will be in Laureldale Cemetery, Tuckerton.
