Betty Jean Wurst

Betty Jean Wurst, 85, passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2018, in her Muhlenberg Township residence.

She was the beloved wife of Charles F. Wurst.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Walter H. and Myrl (Showers) Long.

Betty worked in the payroll department at AT & T for many years.

In addition to her husband Charles, Betty is survived by two children: Leora Guldin and David Wurst. Four grandchildren: Shawn and Timothy Avans, and Devin and Melanie Wurst; seven great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and one brother, Paul R. Long also survive her.

Betty was predeceased by two brothers: Edgar Daubert, and Chuck W. Long.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 28, 2018, at 11 a.m., at Kuhn Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 5153 Kutztown Road, Temple, PA 19560. Burial will follow in Laureldale Cemetery.
