Betty E. Weisser

Betty Elaine Weisser, 63, of Laureldale died September 21, 2009 in Reading Hospital.

She was the wife of Barry Lee Weisser, who she married June 12, 1966.

Born October 16, 1945 in Reading, she was a daughter of Mary L. (Willman) Miller of Laureldale and the late Edwin R. Miller.

Betty was a 1963 graduate of Oley Valley High School.

Her and her husband were the owners and operators of Weisser's Deli at the Fairgrounds Market, Muhlenberg Township for the past 9 years.

Surviving are two daughters: Michele D. (Weisser), wife of Anthony J. Skwiat of Muhlenberg Township and Dawn L. (Weisser), wife of David A. Sgrignoli of Bethel.

In addition, there is a brother, Donald, husband of Sharon Miller of Boyertown.

There are also three grandchildren surviving, Caitlyn N. Manmiller, Amber M. Skwiat and Ashley M. Skwiat.

Services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. A viewing will be held one hour prior to services. Burial will private.
