Betty Jean Spohn

Betty Jean Spohn, 71, of Lancaster, died March 15, 2012 in Lancaster General Hospital.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Richard and Elizabeth (Shiery) Livengood.

She was a worker for Ludens, Inc., Reading.

She is survived by her daughter, Marilyn L., widow of Kurt A. Oplinger, Shillington; her sister, Linda L. Dolla, Reading and her half-brother, Edwin Livengood, Lancaster. Also surviving are her granddaughters: Janel L., wife of Chad M. Smith, Fleetwood and Jessica R. Oplinger, Shillington. Numerous nieces and nephews survive her.

Services will be Thursday at 4:30 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading PA 19611. Friends may call 4 to 4:30 p.m. in the funeral home.
