Betty J. Scholl

Betty J. Scholl, 83, West Reading, died Feb. 7 at 3:10 p.m. in Spruce Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, West Reading, where she had resided since Nov. 17.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Lawrence and Mabel (Bibbus) Wentzel.

Scholl was employed for 10 years as a waitress by Screpesi's Bar & Restaurant, Reading, and was last employed for 10 years by Morey's Coach House, Reading, retiring in 1984.

She was a 1939 graduate of Reading High School.

Surviving are a son, Terry R., Milwaukee; and a daughter, Sheilah M. (Scholl) Nestro, with whom she resided.

Other survivors include a brother, Robert J. Wentzel, Eufaula, Okla.; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
