Betty J. Reinert

Betty Jane Reinert, 77, of Laureldale, died December 26, 2012 in St. Joseph Medical Center.

She was married April 25, 1953 to Kenneth Wilbur Reinert, who died August 16, 1993.

Born in Blandon, PA on February 14, 1935, she was a daughter of the late Bertha (Kellenberger) Reinert.

She was employed a number of years in the maintenance department with Boscov's Department Stores; Reading Fairgrounds and Fleetwood Shirt Factory.

Betty was also employed a number of years with Sammy's Steaks, Muhlenberg Township.

She was a member of Faith E.C. Church, Temple.

Betty is survived by four children: Sheila L., wife of James D. Ely of Humble, Texas; Barbara J., wife of Randie I. Zerbe of Maidencreek Township; Stacey E., wife of Keith H. Kerns of Cumru Township and Bradley S., husband of Michele M. (Petree) Reinert of Ontelaunee Township.

Other survivors include two siblings: Victor, husband of Judith Reinert of Mohnton and Mary Ernst of Laureldale.

There are also seven grandchildren and one great granddaughter surviving.

She was predeceased by a son, Kenneth David Reinert.

Services will be Friday at 10:00 am in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. A viewing will be held Friday from 9:00 am until time of services. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Spring Township.
