Betty V. Putt

Betty V. (Wilson) Putt, 80, of 4854 Belleman's Church Road, Mohrsville, Pa 19541 died January 10th at 6:13 p.m. in The Reading Hospital and Medical Center where she had been since January 5th.

She was the widow of Oliver W. Putt Sr., who died in 1979.

Born in Reading, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Rufus V. and Grace E. (Hartman) Wilson.

Putt worked in the Muhlenberg School District Cafeteria for 15 years before retiring as the supervisor in 1974.

She is survived by a son David A. husband of Melodee J. (Meffen) Putt of Fort Lauderdale Florida and two daughters, Linda M. (Putt) wife of Wayne Simmers with whom she last resided and Joan G. Pearson of Temple.

Other survivors include two brothers, Herbert R. Wilson of Fleetwood and Donald M. Wilson of Laureldale.

She is also survived by two sisters, Joan G. (Wilson) widow of Earl Biddle of Hialeah, Florida and Doris M. (Wilson) wife of Herbert Walker of Ellenboro, North Carolina.

There are also eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Services will be Tuesday 11:00 a.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale. Viewing 10am until time of service. Burial will be private in Laureldale Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township.
