Betty M. Mensch

Betty Mae Mensch, 82, formerly of Reading, died August 20, 2010 in Riverwoods, Lewisburg.

Her husband, Donald W. Mensch, died May 7, 2008.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Lewis E. and Mabel V. (Kern) Smith.

Betty was a 1946 graduate of Reading High School and 1947 graduate of Hoffman secretarial School, Reading.

She worked in the library of Albright College for over 45 years, retiring in 1994.

Betty is survived by her sister-in- law Dorothy R. LeVam, Danville. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews in the Columbia County area.

Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. A viewing will be one hour prior to the services. Burial will be in Laureldale Cemetery. Online condolences may be recorded at www.kuhnfuneralhome.com.
