Betty J. Lesher

Betty J. Lesher, 82 formerly of Lenhartsville, died March 11th at 9:37 am in her sons residence. She was the widow of the late Roy W. Lesher. Born in Tilden Twp., she was the daughter of the late William G. and Helen M. (Budden) Balthaser. She was a member of Friedens Church, Lenhartsville, and the Shartlesville Fire Co. Mrs. Lesher was a former member of the Ladies Auxilary of the Hamburg Fire Co. She was employed as a sleeve setter for the Windsor Knitting Mill for 35 years until she retired in 1993. Surviving is one son, Gene A.husband of Christine E.Lesher, Windsor Township, PA.; three sisters, Virginia K. Shollenberger, Windsor Twp., Faye, Bowers, Hamburg, PA., Darlene Balthaser, Moselem Springs, PA.; also surviving are two grandchildren, Christopher A. Lesher, Mechanicville, NY and Crystal L. Lesher, Windsor Township. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, March 16th at 11:00 am in the Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home, 40 S. 4th St., Hamburg. Rev. Dennis Cooper, Officiating. Relatives & Friends will be received from 10-11 am in the funeral home. Interment will be held in Friedens Cemetery, Lenhartsville.
