Betty J. (Angelisanti) Accordino, 82, of Reading, died March 30, 2012 in Mifflin Center, Cumru Township.
She was the widow of Samuel Accordino.
Born December 1, 1929 in Reading, she was a daughter of the late John and Rose J. (Magaro) Angelisanti.
Betty was employed as a seamer with Berkshire Knitting Mills and David Crystal for 29 years, retiring in 1991.
She was a member of Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, Reading.
She loved animals, especially her three cats and enjoyed crocheting.
An avid baker, Betty was known for her apple dumplings, apple pies and Christmas cookies.
Surviving are two sisters, Mary Hartenstine of Birdsboro and Rosemary J. "Jackie" Schlappich of Spring Township.
She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Betty was predeceased by two brothers, Louis and Anthony Angelisanti.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 a.m. in Holy Rosary R.C. Church, 237 Franklin Street, Reading. A viewing will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township.
